Default an enlarged great pelican design

Some time not too far back an old gent in the p.n.w. built an enlarged G.P. and used it for a couple of years. When he got too old he gave it a vikings funeral, hauled her out and burned her. Was that in an issue of W.Boat magazine or did I read it on a post some where else. can someone help me find it please??. thanks muchly

Thanks Nick and bill, I found it in WC 124 fred d.jpgfred e.jpg
an unusual craft but built to suit his needs. I do recall that at a later date he destroyed it when he and his wife could no longer handle the remoteness and returned to live further south. It was named
"FRED" after his father. He was in his 70's when he built him.
