    I'm a big ME fan. Years ago she had a show here in Burlington VT that was sold out (she's played Burlington many times). However, the ticket prices were huge & when she learned about them & the promoter refused to lower them & return some $, she canceled the show (which meant the promoter had to refund all the tickets & fees), set up a new one with a different promoter with tickets at roughly 1/2 the price & gave everyone who'd bought tickets for the original show first shot at the new one.

    We got tickets to the new show & she started the show off with an apology to everyone & a statement that henceforth all of her contracts with promoters would have a cap on ticket prices. The show was well over 2 hours & she took at least a dozen requests.
