    Default Interview w/ John Prine...

It's an hour and a half of interesting inside stuff.

    Love me some John Prine.

    He has lived a life.

I think that 'hello in there' is one of the most thoughtful, but saddest songs ever written. I find myself humming the tune the older my mom gets, and I get.

Yeah, one of his best. It's been in my repertoire for decades. I heard a lot of Joan Baez's cover as a kid, but discovering Prine's original really changed it for me. There's something about his voice that makes that song.

What are you doing about it?

Arguably the best song writer of our time.

One of them, certainly. I think once one reaches a certain point, comparative ranking becomes impossible.

I haven't listened to the interview yet, but will get to it. John is certainly way up on the list of the best songwriters.
