Default Help IDing a 70's kit boat. Dutch, "FLITS" or "North SEA"

I'm hoping that the hive mind of WB Forum can help me out with a little history, or backstory on a boat we've been offered for our sailing program. The owner built it as a kit in the 70's. It's 12 feet, marine ply.He said it was Dutch. Looks Wayfarer-ish. I haven't been to see it in person but here are some pictures.

That looks like a Flits, allright.
Very nice little trainer/racer for children age 8 to 18. But of course there are no legal age-limits. They are still being raced pretty seriously.
Unfortunately I have no personal experience with them as I probably would need two of them just to stay afloat.

For fun, let's see if I can link to a movie

I crewed one summer in a Flits, nice little boat. I learned to sail then, 1963 probably.

Any links to a class association?

The Flits class association seems to be Flitsclub Sneek. It has an all-Dutch website, I'm afraid, but I guess google should be able to help you there.
I would suggest sending a mail to secretariaat@flitsclubsneek.nl for more specific information.

(btw, 'flits' is simply the Dutch word for 'flash')
