maybe, i had an inboard briggs on a little displacement hull 'brentwood bay' style boat..it looked a lot like that set up.. i never did get it sorted out properly, i thought the prop thrust was supposed to hold the gear engaged in forward but it kept popping out into neutral. i didn't try very hard, not a mechanic, didn't keep that boat for very long.. mine had a dry exhaust... i'm going to say that the engine is definitely briggs and stratton if that's what you're wondering
