Barry, they do not stay like that.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

I know, I had a Border Collie for 15 years (Flash).
Lost him in 2017. He was the bomb.

One of my bigger mistakes was teaching my Border Collie/Lab how to climb trees...

I don't know about a wall, she would master that in a minute or two.

When Miles was a 45 lb puppy the neighbors border collies totally dominated him. Then for some reason they stopped playing with us.

I like Border Terriers, but here they suffer badly from the heat and grass skin allergies.
Maybe overbred of course, that's the trouble with KCC controlled 'pure' breeds. That and fashion….. look at what's happened to the French Bulldog.

My little companion is a Border Terrier. Tough? You have no idea, 11 kg of fearlessness and attitude. He thinks that Rottweilers and Ridgebacks are easy meat, and nobody dares to put their hand in my truck.
But while he's not a "cuddle" dog, he's a very good companion. He was my ex's dog, and she's into training dogs, did a particularly good job on him so he's very reliable to command, and he's very much a part of my life.

Borders are great little dogs, but like most of the short-legged coarse-hair Terriers, they can tend to be little stinkers, Start them off young with frequent baths. Make it a game, because most of them love water. Keep their ears clean and their teeth brushed, and watch out for yeast infections.

A friend had a female named Julie, and she could chase a squirrel 10' straight up a tree trunk, and catch it. They love to run down and kill small critters.

Mine is the fastest thing you've ever seen with rats and mice, makes the best cat look lazy.

Terrier heaven! Not so pleasant for the rats though.

Pants tucked into boots so the rats don't run up your leg.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
