For the most part experience is making the same mistakes over and over again, only with greater confidence.
Pretty scene, 12*f I'm happy to watch from far away.
Beautiful.
A great addition!
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.
Skiing is the next best thing to having wings.
Is that Little Babson with Conary in the background to the left of it?

Ha! Thought so. I spent time on Conary growing up & helped in building (& rebuilding years later) their pier. Also spent some great vacation time on the Reach near the bridge. That is truly a beautiful area.

Does the camera setup include time, temp and wind info in one unit? (Some local yacht club members are pushing for such a website to be set up so they can check on moored boats and kids' sailing classes/activities, and see weather conditions remotely.)

Don't know. Also not certain which model, but this is the outfit: HIKVISION
My computer shows a static picture, not a live video. How's it supposed to work?

I think it updates every minute or so.

We have live HD panning zooming webcams on the Solent! This one pans up Southampton water from Cowes.
Take a look. Notice the grey skies, obscurred industrial features of the power station and oil refinery on the horizon and grey green brown water. Feel the dank cold clamminess of it all. Oh look a bird! But I find them relaxing and interesting.

Seems odd without the boats.
Cool. This needs a link at the top of the page that we can click on.

Up to 39F now. It's more bearable. I'll bookmark this one for the summer.

Actually... we have it at the top of our Store site page, upper left, "web cam" icon. And on our Store site's "Visiting Brooklin" page.
Thanks for the tip!
Looks like the current is running:

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
no winter-sticks? Do they pull the moorings out completely for the winter?
"Visionary" is he who in every egg sees a carbonara.
Interesting to compare! The weather looks better than on our side of the globe . Neither autumn, winter or spring type weather, just miserable these days.
Cheers !

P.S. the club's Youtube channel shows time-lapse videos of previous months. You can follow how the water temperatures etc. changed and see the boats coming out for winter.

I've been checking the webcam every day mostly observing the tide. I'm waiting for those -35*f days to see how the ice forms.

I hope the results will be posted sometime soon. Always interesting. Any list of what and how many boats were racing?
