Default Question for Joe So Cal

Standing in line at a Cracker Barrell in Elizabethtown (redneck hillbillyville) Kentucky. Can you give me any hints on how to dispense with standing in this queue?

    Thank you in advance.

Btw, if it helps you with any ethical quandaries, pretty sure I’m the most liberal person in this entire lobby. I gotta get me a deep cover MAGA hat.

Tryin ta git yerself shot? How you feel now is how I feel at the shooting range. Totally undercover.
In the US this perverted idea of “blood and soil” over “constitutional principles” is the most radical and anti-democratic and anti-Conservative idea I have heard in my lifetime.

Christmas dinner I sat across the table from Ken's half-brother. He wore a beautiful brand new yellow NRA ball cap must have been a present. And no he didn't remove it......not even for the saying of grace.

I like Cracker Barrel, and as far as I can tell they are all pretty much the same whether you are in Alabama or Ohio.

I can't remember Elizabethtown, though assuming it is on a Kentucky interstate I am sure I have been through there. Probably doesn't have the level of sophistication of a Wetumpka, Alabama or a Hell, Michigan, but we can't all be so blessed, I suppose.

Get a wheelchair or electric scooter.....you may still have to wait, but at least you'll be sitting.

My "barber", a gorgeous lesbian, is covered with tattoos of naked women and rides a Harley. Not a fan of cheato-man.

Relax, the line will move, you'll get a big plate of food for ten bucks, the wait staff will be genuinely friendly, and no one will look down their nose at you.

I avoid chain restaurants and kitschy Cracker Barrel in particular You can't charm corporate EVAH !!!!

If it twa's me I would go local like my little hole in the wall Silverado Cafe. We've ingrained ourselves in this little hole in the wall that when we Vespa up and walk in we are greeted with our nicknames "NEW YOOORK IN THE HOUSE" We have our own coffee mugs up on the peg board and get into conversation with Gabe, Felix, Roddie, etc. A couple of mimosas, huevos rancheros, or Shrimp Mojo, or during this time of year fresh homemade tamales.

However, we might need an 8 page discussion on is it ethical to feign being a patriot in order to cut the line at Cracker Barrel

I'm 63 and my father is going on 90. He would still smack me if I wore a hat at the table or failed to take it off for grace.

I guess we all have our priorities.

The only thing Cracker Barrel has going for it is that they let let you overnight with your camper in their lots. And as so, I feel duty-bound to eat there when we do that, but it's never a treat. If that is authentic southern cooking, I'm proud to be a yankee.
