    Default Bleaching darkened woods

When refinishing, my wife has used a product called Barkeeper's Friend to lighten stains and aged sections of furniture bought at auction. She mixes the powder with water into a paste, spreads it on the places she needs to overnight and then sponges and flushes it off. Repeats if necessary. It works great! It has oxalic acid as an ingredient (7-10%) but isn't as runny as using the liquid alone in diluted form.

If I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, eventually they would find me attractive.
