We just helped or now ex neighbour move on to a canal boat last week.
They had been looking at various options to "drop out" i.e get off the mortgage treadmill, from buying smallholdings to moving overseas. Then we moved in next door and got chatting about our time living on boats, which got their interest, but not being salt water types, rarely visiting the beach that is 3 minutes away and he being a fresh water angler the option of a narrow boat came up.
Just hope it works out for them, being as the family and the other neighbours all think its a bad move (stupid landlubbers)

Meanwhile, I'm sat here slowly drying out

When they get tired of it, ring us up! Well take over for them.

    Peace,
    Robert
