    Default Irony or karma?

In 2016, Wisconsin Republicans led by Gov. Scott Walker tightened the state's election recount rules after Green Party candidate Jill Stein demanded a recount even though she received only 1% of the vote. Her campaign paid for the recount but it didn't change the outcome. Republicans called the recount a waste of time and changed the recount rule so that a candidate can request a recount only if they lost by 1% or less.

This past Tuesday, Walker lost to Tony Evers by 30,849 votes - or 1.1%
I rather be an American than a Republican.

That is my second favorite detail about this year's election--Republicans hoist by their own petard!

My first favorite: Walker, the governor who eliminated collective bargaining for public employees, was beaten by a teacher.

You don't have to be prepared as long as you're willing to suffer the consequences.

My fave was over in Kansas where Sharice Davids is headed for Congress as the first Native American Lesbian Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter ever elected anywhere.

Sarah Sanders had better keep her interns well away from her!

Sounds like a perfect choice for speaker in the future. They won't need a Sergeant of arms in the house…..

The baker who got (in)famous because he wouldn't bake a wedding cake for a gay couple getting a gay governor ranks fairly high up on this same scale.
