I have a noisy pitbull and a quiet one, they make the claw hammer unnecessary just by barking.
In the US this perverted idea of “blood and soil” over “constitutional principles” is the most radical and anti-democratic and anti-Conservative idea I have heard in my lifetime.

Nick, in all honesty, people will always use their rights in an effort to force their will on others. Its an abuse on an individual basis and should be treated individually, not rulled against in a massive scale. The whole suffers because if the few is a terrible lesson.

Being stupid doesn't disqualify anyone from owning firearms here.

Seems like no one wants to actually shoulder that much responsibility when it comes to owning a gun.
Here is an old argument. Law abidding would pay the insurance. Criminals, just like with autos, wont. You cant force obedience, only encourage it. Maybe grandpa would have bought the insurance, but where would that leave us now? What would it have done, other than lay his lawyer fees.

I live not far from people known to break into my neighborhood houses. My 44 mag sleeps beside me. I make no apologies. A claw hammer doesnt reach far or fast enoigh against multiple drug addicted people when im half asleep.

Id like to point out that gun ownership is protected right. Driving a car is a privilege. A privilege is regulatable. A right, not so much.

Get a Gun Vault. I've needed my handgun twice in a hurry, I've practiced to get to where I have it in my hand in under 4 seconds while still lying in bed. Protection from unauthorized use while still accessible.

And as long as you believe that the death toll will keep rising but I'm sure the thoughts and prayers help.
The definition of stupid has got to be the belief that more guns will negate the bloodshed done with guns.

It's arms, not guns, and keep and bear - not own; hard to see how much more wrong you can get in one sentence.

Sure, in this particular case, since it is contained within one family liability insurance doesn't much help. The surviving victim is the one that was negligent. What if the kid wounded or killed the neighbor kids father. Insurance would be a pretty big deal.

Adam Lanza's mom wasn't a criminal, yet her son used her guns to kill a whole lot of kids. Wounded others. Liability insurance on those weapons could have made a big difference to victims families.

    Columbine.. same thing...

How many examples do we need?
