Thoughts to you Phillip, peace be with you. If you're reading this, I always felt you had integrity, regardless of whether I agreed with you. Your heart is good, may you be rewarded for that.
In the US this perverted idea of “blood and soil” over “constitutional principles” is the most radical and anti-democratic and anti-Conservative idea I have heard in my lifetime.

I hope the best for Phillip, whatever that may be. He sat at my table and also came to meet with Me, Sleek and Pless. A very nice guy.

    This is what I wrote

Hi, I am writing as one of many friends that Phillip Allen had on the Wooden Boat forum. He stopped logging on to the forum a few weeks ago, saying he might go into the hospice. We know he had severe heart problems.

I found this as one of three addresses on the internet and am writing to each one in search of news, good or bad.

Please let me know how he is and if the worst has happened, please know he was deeply respected and dearly loved on the forum.

You can email, phone or if you wish write.

    Sincerely

    Gareth Hughes (login name Hwyl)

Yes, thank you. If he's still about it would be good to get back in contact, even if he needs some help. If it's a device that's needed put me down for a contribution.

No pics that night. I think I remember TDG threatened lives if anyone took her pic and posted it.

I seem to remember that a pic was posted. Probably down the photobucket drain.

I had the pic, but might have lost it when my hard drive died. There might be another copy on my other laptop, but it is in the shop.

Really? I missed that threat. Prolly a good thing - as I tend to take threats as challenges. Not that I'm any sorta redneck at all, at all <G>

Phillip just called me. He recognized my phone number as I am on his contact list so he called me back. He does not answer phone calls from unknown numbers because he’s getting so many telemarketing calls. We talked about 15 minutes and he sounded very good. He’s doing fine and he is at home.

Good to know Phillip still has his keel in the water and mast in the air.

Like Phillip, I don't answer any number I or my phone fail to recognize. Legitimate callers will leave a voice mail and I always get back.
