Seeking recommendations:

As a newish (second season) wooden boat owner, I'm seeking input from locals on marinas that have good facilities to haul and potentially store a wooden boat out of water. Prefer on Narraganset bay, but will look at anywhere local.

CREE is somewhat over built, and (only) 45 years old, having launched in '73, and we've hauled/ launched in slings on a travel lift over the past year with no problem. That said, unless those with experience can convince me otherwise, I'd like to find a place I can haul on a rail or trailer, and with folks that know wooden boats. This is for short and long hauls.

Appreciate input from those in the know. I'm digging through active captain in the meantime, but finding it a tedious process, without a lot of useful info.

We're 40' LOA and 14' beam, mahogany over oak frames. Flybridge cruiser with 3-1/2 foot draft.
