Glad to hear your condition is improving.

Good work on getting that flywheel off. They can be a real pain in the boat.

Ah, so much waste. I hate that.
Ever think of making the long section a second piece?

    Is my stingy showing?

two 4x8 plywood pieces, and yes - one side of the boat out of each sheet.
Today glued and fastened the decks - trimming tomorrow.

That's not waste. Just keep the offcuts. They will be perfect for something later on. Is there some sort of treatment available for my condition?

That looks really good. I do agree with keeping the off cuts. Never can tell what may come up and you need a small piece.

    Thank you Ben.
Comings supposed to be made of 1/4" mohagony - that'$ not going to happen. I think I have 1/8 ply I could use, but that's little too flimsy I think - would like to make it out of 1/4" but not enough off cuts
I will be using 1977 Johnson 15HP outboard - that's designer recommends. However have some concerns about the strength of transom area. The motor weights 82 lbs. Transom is 3/4" plywood, I did add 3/4 oak pieces to strengthen it. Wander if there is anything else I should do.....?
Bottom and side planking are 1/4 plywood, 1x2" battens are notched in to the frame, not the transom.....

I had to replace a plywood cockpit seat with mahogany trim on an old inexpensive boat. I used spruce for the trim and stained it. Your coaming can be hard pine or fir.

I would want a knee between the keel and transom for that size motor.

Good idea John, went to HD and they have some fir that I could use.
Here is the knee timo4352.....not sure if the size of it is ok
Was reading trough build of Bingo, and Bruce has some good size 3 laminated knees, and bottom planks are 3/8 plywood..........

Here is a Glen L utility for comparison. I like the double knees also...
    https://boatbuilders.glen-l.com/util...er-portland-or
I would go as tall as you can without interfering with the motor clamps. possibly up in between them even -- and then a close to equal amount length on the keel side.
....I don't know... 15 horse sounds like a lot for this sailboat hull... I would be more inclined to say closer to 6 max, but if the designer says 15 who am I too question...?
The Glen L builder's forum may provide some more info for you on that. https://www.glen-l.com/picboards/picarchv.html
....in that pics listing there is not a single Glen L 15 with an outboard on it...

Glen L15 is used as a sailboat mostly I think. I use the boat during summer when we are more or less windless in my area, that's why decided to use it as a motorboat. Still I am keeping the option to use it as a sailboat someday. The plans for my boat are calling for 7.5 HP motor, but due to tidal currents that 7.5 is very often not enough, although got us on the plane last summer. That's why I decided to up the power a little........and then ,reading trough Glen website i found out that they are recommending 15HP for newer designs of Glen L15.
Thank you for the links - that double knee looks interesting, I think I will go with that design. I may incorporate a battery stand into it......!!??

trying to buy remote control cables and fittings. Spend 3 weeks dealing with local outboard repair guy, and this is just way to slow, he is too busy - I just need two cables.
Is there a place I can get it? I look in few marine outboards companies but can not find anything - I can get parts, but no cables
