    Default Introduction

Hi, everyone! Not sure if anyone had done this already, so I just made this thread for new guys like me to create an intro. Anyway, newbie here. I'm glad to have found this great online WoodenBoat discussions community. I'm hoping to learn more from the other members here. Cheers!

Welcome Steve! You will find a wealth of information in:
    1 The building section
2 The plans and design section
    3 Tools and Materials section

Here in the Bilge you will find....other stuff.

    Great to have ya here!

Think of the Bilge as a bit like a winter time coffee break around the boat yard wood stove with people of pungent personality.

Welcome, and pay attention to what paulf said, it can be stinky down here but there is treasure floating on the muck too.
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.
