Default A Pathfinder in Tidewater Virginia - photos

Went sailing with and beside Steve Earley and his Welsford Pathfinder Spartina. Between house renovations, work, and weather, was the first time I had one of my boats in the water this year.

    More of this please.

Thanks for the thread and photos. Man, that Pathfinder is a BIG boat! Your photos really show the volume and freeboard. All part of what makes it so capable.

Yes, it is a very big little boat. Still easy to manage alone, but I'm always surprised how big it is. Steve has learned it inside and out, and feels confident with it in fair weather and foul.

Great photos. I wish I had some crab cakes right about now.

Any history of the Pathfinder? Did he build it?

    Thanks!

    Nice boat, nice places!
There is nothing quite as permanent as a good temporary repair.

Had crab cakes for sure. And oysters. Both local of course. Very, very tasty.

Was just a perfect weekend, so unusual here for August (as I'm sure you know).
