    Yeah in some ways, But I don’t think it’s really a big deal. Jean Luc got hit with the same kind of penalty for making a call while in the Pacific. Par for this course, or better than par as they are completing the course. They will all be happy to receive Slats when he arrives, it’s cool that he comes in right and the leader. It should be a fun scene.

    I think the race organization has stumble through this first running, but hopefully they are working it out, trying to keep one foot in the past and one in the present.

    Nice post Jackster. Yeah I agree Slats ran a great race! And he is inspirational!

    Jean Luc is pretty amazing too. I heard that he rebuilt his entire rig himself. Then it mostly withstood being pitchpolled! Makes me wonder how decades of round the world racing experience informs rigging a boat like that. I would love to know how he set it up.
