    Snake Knot Project
The snake knot combined with the overhand, overhnand stopper knot makes a nice zipper pull, lanyard or key ring fob. The ends can be trimmed close even when using natural matetial.

Thanks for posting this, I've (k)not seen this in my knot books. Looks great for a zipper pull.

There are always short lengths of cordage left over after tightening knots such as a monkey fist. I make pulls such as these to use as much of that leftover cord as possible

    Interlocked snake knot
The locked snake knot is on the left, the unlocked version is on the right.
Each half knot in the locked version is tied into the preceding half knot. In the unlocked version the half knots are joined together in pairs.
