That so perfectly reflects my attitude about varnishing.

If can't see the pic, but I hate varnish. On my boat anyway. Well, not quite true. I like the varnish someone else did in the interior of my boat before I bought her. And I quite like the look of varnish on OPBs.

I like it...inside. I can't put it on well, but I like the look.

By the time I pick up a varnish brush I consider the job two thirds done as it normally takes twice as long to varnish as it does to rub the thing down.

Well, guys I tried a straight transfer from the cloud. But, obviously, it doesn't work!
I will try again later. Working on a boat in the yard.

I love to varnish. It's the prep that I hate!

So, what do you mean by "pick up a varnish?" Is this some new technique that I don't know about?

Ok, Here is my next attempt at getting this photo printed here. Here it is! One thing, How do you get to the swim step from the after deck without stepping on the varnish or sliding on your backside? You might also pick up a varnish job on this one.

    Heavens to Mergatroid!

Is she actually in Holland, or are they just flying the Dutch flag because Epifanes is their sponsor?

I don't know where the boat is located. My brother in law sent me the photo. I will ask him where he got it.

Runabouts usually have a waterline cover and are kept in covered moorage. Varnish will last several seasons if not otherwise damaged. The sun is what destroys varnish.

On the other hand: I did a speedboat and the owner kept it at open moorage without a cover. The deck was gone in one summer.

I imagine the owner of this one has someone on a payroll to take care of that toy. My brother in law could not share any info on it as he found it
    on line.
