    Default Updating of things

How long has the 40 hour full time week been? How long has free K - 12 education been?

Isn't it time these things were reconsidered?

Feel free to add anything you think is antiquated to this list

You must not be a teacher. If you were, you'd know that public education operates under a non-stop barrage of "reconsideration"--most of it perpetrated by people with no experience or ground-level knowledge of what education is, or ought to be.

So Brian, would you be open to a single-payer government health care system?

I agree that employer-provided healthcare is not the answer.

While my wife was studying for her Masters in Health Care Administration she found that of every dollar spent on health care, 70 cents came from some form of government source. The sourcing is sufficiently camouflaged to keep folks from realizing just how close we already are to a single payer system. Oh my GAWD! The end of democracy in this country.
