Yes, real wintery, it was a bit fresh for much of the day then died away to nothing just as we needed it.
Great to meet Roger though, he's an interesting guy.

When I first joined WBF they made me write a book to prove I was a real yachty. I was so gullible.

Nice to see the boats being used for what they were designed to do. Good to see even a short video of Whaler under sail, and looks to go well.

Yeah, Whaler looks great. I'm gonna look her up!

    Thanks for sharing.

I know I've gone on about it but I have to repeat what a buzz it was to see Dave Perillo's old navigator rock up to the boats anchored in Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa islands , Fiji ....last year.

Working hard for a living, she's a market garden boat now. But the owner just loves sailing and does the trip across to the markets at Lautoka periodically. ....Tough bit of water to navigate in. Cracked me up when he told me he took goats once.

Is there an online link to Daves exploits in the Yasawas still? He wrote a neat article which I'm sure helped inspire many sailors to do something a bit different, perhaps even build something capable of taking the rough with the smooth like a Navigator or Pathfinder.
But I've lost the link.... , now I've been there myself I'd like to read that again .
