    Nice thumper. You may want to allow just a BIT more line to eliminate the "lipping" shown at the (11:00) quadrant of the mat.

    Nicely done.



    Did you stitch the back or glue/varnish the joins?

    I pulled out a bit on the bights and the problem disappeared.
    I am going leave it as is. My wife has claimed it as a hot pad for a small frying pan she favors

    Out here at the Western edge of the US, we call them "Thump Pads". I sew mine together.
