    Default Reds

Y'all know that "Reds" refers to commies, right? Not right-wing Republicans? Y'all took a wrong turn somewhere, because that's some pretty strong ignorance working.

    "Reds?" Lol.

The red/blue designation is fairly recent and comes from the display maps used during elections.

Poor choice, I reckon. Republicans should be designated yellow or brown.

I won't advise you to grow up, as that's clearly impossible.

At your next cocktail party, refer to conservative Republicans as "Reds." Those nodding patiently as if they understand are not agreeing with you. They're concerned for your mental state.

    Not surprising really. Bigly sad.

Oh? Funny, the only place I have discovered such references is here on this Forum. Who is the genius that came up with such a brilliant demonym?

Trump having invited Russia into our elections it seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Do you live in an old refrigerator crate at the city dump? Haven't watched TV or looked at a national news magazine or newspaper in the last ten years?

I was just about to say that I appreciated your groundedness, even if a bit naÔve in patiently explaining how the reference came to be. We'll hold off on the appreciation for now, though.

Demonyms are notoriously imprecise. I mean, if we're going to talk about maps, we see that Wyoming is a "red state," and yet, you're not a "Red." Or are you (I mean, the "other way")?

    You see? A mess.

The Republicans run the state (into the ground). I'm neither red nor blue: a wolf. Silver-grey.

The red and the blue come from the US flag, but since you don't like being a Red, I hereby decree that all Republicans, corrupt powermongers, greedheads, RWWs, neo-Nazis, fossil-fuelers, militia wannabes, and those of similar characteristics be known as WHITES. So you're a White in a Blue state.

    That seems more accurate.
