Default This chap mended my radio

Nasty little cheapo portable radio. It's been misbehaving for months - very temperamental. Along comes this radio techie, leaps on to the table and sends it flying onto a hard tiled floor. Batteries scattered to the four winds.

I put back the batteries, retuned it and lo! - working perfectly. Far better than before.

    Thanks, puss.

Great looking cat. I'm sure it was all about fixing your radio for you...

In the early days of radio, wasn't there a component called a cats whisker?

    Sorry. I needed to laugh.

    Peace,

Moi? Cynic? Perish the thought! Having had a number of cats, I would not list altruism at the top of their motivations...

My sweetie has always had cats. We're down to one AllBlack female who's quite sweet. I'm more of a dog person, so not really qualified to opine on cat psychology... but looking back... I believe you might just be correct

Not only is he a skilled radio technician, but he is also as charming as he is handsome. A very cheerful fellow, playful and energetic, into everything (not just radio repair) but also a gentle soul (although the occasional little field mouse might not agree) and possibly the most affectionate puss by whom I have ever been employed (and there have been many)
