    Default A Brain Tumor update.

    For those interested.

It's 24 months since my craniotomy for a glioblastoma Grade 4. It's been an interesting time with a fair amount of confusion and trepidation to begin with but no pain ever. Radiation was fine and the chemo was a non event, no nausea or ill effects.
I'm extremely grateful to the surgeons at Gold Coast Surgical and the various specialist oncologists who have managed my treatment.
If I have any complaint it's the chemo induced tiredness and 2 years post op it finally seems to be easing and I'm getting some of my old energy back.
Despite being 68 I am and was fairly fit with no other health problems. The oncologist suggest this is one reason I've done so well.
I've been Very Lucky and Blessed as well.

Glad to hear it--that's great news! I'm still waiting to see how Jim does once you're out sailing--I've really enjoyed your build.

I should add that my medical bills have come to less than $300, hospital parking cost me more.

Great news. +1 on being thankful for universal health care. I’d be bankrupt without it.

Each day holds something to be appreciated.
There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.
