    For all the over production scripted nonsense of The Voice, they occasionally produce a breakout performance. Laith certainly is good at weaving a little guitar shredding into his powerful vocals.

    If youíll allow me to switch gears just a bit, here is one of my favorite The Voice performances. Itís even just a little bit country, which is pretty far astray for me, but she packs a lot of emotion into this song.

    Here's proof that Laith Al-Saadi is not a recent phenomenon: In 2006, short of hair and absent of beard, Laith played at the Guitar Center's King of the Blues...

    I like Laith. My only minor complaint is that his guitar riffs seem too rehearsed, and probably played note for note the same each time. A true guitar shredder would be a little more improv I think.
