    Default Car-washing tip

Yesterday, with the local car wash backed up for at least a 1/2 hour wait, I decided to do it myself. The part I really don't like though is drying it. Here's what I did- parked in the shade of a big ol' Oak, washed it as usual, then a thorough rinse. Immediately jumped in and drove it out onto the nearby highway (55 mph) for about a mile- by the time I got back (less than 5 minutes), it was completely dry with narry a spot!

Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

Close the windows. Remove the antenna.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.
