    It was indeed a Mig 27. It crashed in 2010, killing the pilot.

    Indeed a MiG-27 as Bigfella has confirmed. Some bird-watcher !

    As for the MiG 21īs take-off and landing speed ....scooped up the followingr:

    MiG 23 and 27 probably have lower take-off and landing speeds ? Would make it easier on the pilots.
