It's 84F right now the first pitch (Home game) will be thrown out 7:05 EST. Strong winds blowing out to center-left field. Should be exciting!

A nice night here, light snow, but only expecting an inch or two. Hovering right around the freezing mark.
Stay calm, be brave....wait for the signs. Possibly precariously prevaricating.

13" so far and still falling, although it's hard to measure because it's been blowing and there are drifts. Lordy.

It's getting serious: the Jets' plane was turned back last night. They're trying again this morning. There are going to be a lot of disappointed Jets fans if tonight's game three is cancelled!

(Of course, the irony of a whiteout stopping the whiteout is kind of delicious...)

My accu-weather barbeque has about 13" on it, after a bunch of freezing rain.
Bare ground and 2' drifts as well.
More freezing rain and melty rain in the forecast.
Poor 2" tulip sprouts are buried and the potted azaleas are quivering under the car porch.

Yeah, I just read southern Ontario is getting whacked. Good day to stay off the roads, I think.

Oddly enough, even though there's a major blizzard going on just to the south of us, the weather here is finally starting to look up after a few weeks of unseasonable cold.

I still do not see how you guys do that up north but I am guessing the tables will change when we are in the 100s and you guys in the 80s.

Not that it's the 13th, but we had snow last night on the seacoast of NH.

My part of Michigan has been through 9" of snow, hail, sleet, freezing rain, rain, raining frogs and pitchforks...

    Lovely weekend.

Frogs and pitchforks indeed. I'm going out to fire up the snowblower. Not only that, it looks like one of the cats has had a stroke or something, and can't walk. She's 18 years old, but still . . . Lovely weekend.

Last night we got about 1/4" of freezing rain, followed by 3-4" of snow & now it's sleeting.

Lovely day! (to be right next to the woodstove)

No comment. This was yesterday morning; there's now another 3" or so.

Another 1/4" of ice on top of everything this morning. I'd rather have your snow... Gonna need skates to get down the driveway later.

I had the same problem yesterday. Had to park the truck down by the road as there was no way it would climb up my hilly driveway.

    Lots of cold rain.
