As seen in a photo in the men's room at Edensaw Woods in Port Townsend:

My guess is that it is based on a TR3 chassis?

Looks very well done, but not really practical ground clearance unless it has airbags for moving around.

Wood is not a very good energy absorber. Crumpling metal is much better.

Just because you can, does not mean you should.
    This has better styling

As has this, which has been posted before
It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

Not necessarily so. Wood is better than GRP, and will crumple in a planned way if used right.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

While I find the idea of a wood car rather amusing and indeed admire several of them,I have to keep in mind that in the days of naval warfare in wooden ships the splinters killed more people than the cannon balls. So in the event of a collision while travelling in a woodencar I have to believe the same outcome is likely.

On the other hand the physical properties of wood can be a huge advantage in a properly engineered structure.Frank Costin was just the man to do this sort of thing and he designed the wooden chassis for the early Marcos.

Which would have been hidden beneath this body.

A year or two later he designed the Protos for Formula 2 and the outer skin of the monocoque as well as the bulkheads and internal structure were wooden.

its an art form maybe.. and is that a Reliant Scimitar behind? had one of those thirty years ago when I was rich and famous. supension and gearbox triumph.. Essex Ford 3litre V6 GRP body.. piece of crap honestly. The dash board was like a kit car... like we've designed the car built it now lets start selling them. er guys we don't have any dials ...ok down the accessory shop.. we need a oil pressure gauge, temperature, oh yeah and a fuel gauge would be handy... while you 're there see if they have any speedos and rev counters.... bit like early Jags. but one of the first sports estates, and some princess loved 'em
