Default London to Paris by Air!

Nice little American film of a Giant of The Skies.

    1923.

25 one way - and watch for the Customs Inspection on arrival!

    Everyone has beautiful manners.

    1430 in 2017 money!

    Edit! ...

No, that can't be right. A 1923 Franc was worth 6 cents. So 300 Francs was 18 Dollars - about 250 Dollars in today's money.

A Rapide just came up for sale, if you want a taste of that glory.

    It's listed on Barnstormers.

    Way cool!

This reminded me of taking a flight on a Ford Trimotor last year. It flew at a comparable speed and altitude around the city for a bit before returning to the airport. The plane held 10 passengers but where the pilots sat was enclosed.

At 8:01, are they being passed by a boat? Maybe they are turning towards it, and it is an illusion.
