Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

The gag was that no one watching the show had heard of Amelia Earhart.

    Speaking of flying:
    https://www.girlsfly2.ca/events.html
This girls flu 2 event will start this weekend.
There will be helicopters going over constantly for 2 days.
They take women up to get them interestested in flying.
Very popular. I hink they do about a 30 mile trip.

That mountain in the background at about 3:56 is Mt. Baker in Washington. It's volcanic.

Hilda B Hewlett, a 47-year old mother of two, became the first British woman to pass her flying test on August 18th 1911.
She received Pilot’s Certificate no. 122.

Went to an airshow in 1909, got hooked, bought a Farman, set up a flying school with her business partner Gustave
Blondeau at Brooklands that taught Tommy Sopwith to fly. She passed her test in 1911.
Bit of a goer that one.
