The US Office of Special Counsel announced Tuesday that White House aide Kellyanne Conway violated the Hatch Act on two occasions by "advocating for and against candidates" in last year's Alabama Senate special election.

The incompetence is astounding. I say "incompetence" because it's certainly preferable to thinking she knowingly broke the law.

The usuals should be along soon to tell us this is a nothing burger & that the MSM is on another witch hunt. Though looking at the pic above, that term just might be appropriate...

    Yeah, like this will happen.

Please note: This is not Mulleur's Special Council this is The US Office of Special Counsel.

So the decision on how to proceed goes back to the White House. It is unlikely that this will lead anywhere. I mean it's just one more broken law.

When the indictments finally come down from the Special Counsel, the White House Counsel's office is going to be choked with paper.

Widespread circulation of that picture on social media may be enough of a punishment for Ms. Conway. Yikes!

No. Removing a woman from office for violating the Hatch Act to further her politics.

Again? Her first violation of the Hatch Act was when she sent the world out to buy ivanka's shoes.

Is it OK to degrade women's shoes? Chinese junk.

No. That was a violation of a different federal ethics law. This one:

2635.702 Use of public office for private gain.
An employee shall not use his public office for his own private gain, for the endorsement of any product, service or enterprise, or for the private gain of friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity, including nonprofit organizations of which the employee is an officer or member, and persons with whom the employee has or seeks employment or business relations. The specific prohibitions set forth in paragraphs (a) through (d) of this section apply this general standard, but are not intended to be exclusive or to limit the application of this section.

    (a)Inducement or coercion of benefits.
    An
employee shall not use or permit the use of his Government position or title or any authority associated with his public office in a manner that is intended to coerce or induce another person, including a subordinate, to provide any benefit, financial or otherwise, to himself or to friends, relatives, or persons with whom the employee is affiliated in a nongovernmental capacity.

I wasn't degrading her. I was merely pointing out that the picture in the OP is not flattering and like anyone else who has ever had an unflattering picture of themselves circulated, I imagine that she would find it to be unpleasant and embarrasing. I also speculated about what she might look like in several years given the natural aging process. In no way do I believe Ms. Conway's abundant deficiencies and failings a result of or related to her appearance. If you find such things offensive or improper, I would have to agree that you are acting in a way commonly associated with a snowflake.

I actually have no problem with bashing people for looks or intelligence's. I just thought you lefties were different, once again I'm wrong. Hey, when we get done bashing women that gravity and time have not been to kind too can we start a good old fashioned bashing of them colored folks?

A screen grab from a video can be pretty ugly. Happens all the time when I pause my TV. Very attractive people can suddenly look quite unappealing.
As for Conway, she's broken this law at least two or three times now. Trump will pat her on the top of the head for being a good minion and nothing will happen.

You need to step up your game, silly little jabs at an old white guy will get you no street creds. If I were you I'd stick to bashing women, seems you are more practiced and better at it.

    It's probably safer too.

    Leave Kellyanne alone!

There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.

I thought it was sorta cute. I got Mrs JimD a pair of red gloves for Xmas a few years ago and we both have impeccable taste.

I agree. It's shameful to see grown men insulting a woman's appearance like this. How about focusing on Hatch Act violations?
