Default Over the Bar, Anne Bray

Those of you that are on FB know that we lost a member of the family today, Anne Bray. Establisher of the WB reference library, always sparkling and game, partner of Maynard, co author of a bunch of books. Those of us privileged to know her and be a friend will miss her. RIP.

Many of us have benefitted greatly from her efforts at WoodenBoat. Thank-you, Mrs. Bray. Condolences to her family and friends.
Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

Woodenboat Magazine's Facebook page has asked any who have photos of her to consider posting them there. Some really nice ones have shown up.

That's is really sad news to hear.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

Was very sad news to read this morning. Losing one of the WoodenBoat family always hurts.

Anne left some big shoes to fill in the library which Pat Lown has been doing admirably.

Which reminds me - I still need to head up for some research.
