I wish I could get over for it. It's a top spot, isn't it.
When I first joined WBF they made me write a book to prove I was a real yachty. I was so gullible.

Before roads and rail Inverloch was a trading port for all the produce from the hinterland using small sailing ships like the Ripple.

A Regatta was held there for 100 years but gradually fell into decline. The club, and essentially one of the club members and his wife (the artist) have revived it and it could become rather bigger than we thought. The sailing ground is shallow and very strongly tidal and changes from year to year, month to month sometimes which does make it somewhat difficult ast times.
