I saw that on The Daily Show last night. I have no idea what is going on.

I've seen someone having a mini stroke. It wasn't much different!

Panic attack, maybe? Or not exactly "panic," but a similar physiological response to the cognitive dissonance.

I think that as various folks have discussed, Trump's career has been built on being a "showman" - which really means, an inventor and inflator of facts, a con-artist. Mostly operating on this side of the law. In order to be powerful and convincing in that role, the first one to be really convinced (at least while the words are spoken) has to be Trump himself. He's not a "method actor" who immerses in a role while knowing that it's a role ... he temporarily takes on the beliefs. Even when another part of himself is fully aware that it's a lie.

I think this is the guy's mind and body reacting under the strain. And being unable to see a way out of the horrific situation, having a physical crisis.

Nah. It was only a couple of words. Just stumbled, too much spit, or got his tongue in the wrong place or something. If it weren't Trump, nobody would notice.

Denture failure? They are claiming dry mouth. Do you think he’s got better doctors now than that quack he had during the campaign.

He had the best doctors, bigly. And was the healthiest candidate ever to tread the Primary boards. His own doc told us so, in an authentic long-form handwritten doctor's note.

How would one know? Oceanea has always been at war with Eurasia.
