Nice! That reminds me of old-time WoodenBoat issues.

Re ‘Dolly; just look at that bowsprit bend. No wonder they are scrambling to windward. Magnificent view though.

Wonderful picture of ‘Dolly’, and just look at that bowsprit bend. No wonder they are scrambling to windward.

Can anyone identify the design of two boats on p. 51 of this thread:

    Primrose, post #1766
    Pickpocket, post #1775

    Thanks!

Pickpocket looks like an Eel, designed by Bill Garden as a modernized version of a Holmes design.

Primrose is Aage Nielsen's Design 136. 15' daysailer designed for writer E.B. White.

This is Kevin Flick rowing the prototype of my Racer X - an open water racing shell - at this year's Seventy48. Apparently he finished the boat two days before, then got in just a short test row the day before. He came in 27th overall, and 5th of the single handed rowing boats (not a separate class). The boat is not actually pinkish.

    Attachment 39137
Chris Cunningham (editor of Small Boats Monthly) rowing his old Chamberlain Gunning Dory. Wooden - not my SOF version.

A "marathon" canoe. Marathon Canoe rules state that the boat must be 34" wide at the 4" waterline, within 12" of the center . . . .

Ladybug canoe I built for a school fundraiser. 6' long and 8lbs. Sold for $1100, with paddle - and an aka that attaches this boat to a parent's canoe, like a motorcycle sidecar.
