    This is a very cool idea, it's made of plywood. The bulb is made of stacked 12m steel pieces.

    Costinfg out at about $5000 for material costs.

    Looks like goodness & public-service bringing more/easier sailing water sport to a segment of the population that has not had easy access.
    Open Source design that leverages the efficiency/economy of CNC manufactured parts.
    I would think that Chesapeake Light Craft (John Harris) might get involved at some point.
