Donna - I am so sorry and sad to hear about Jack. Deepest condolences to you. His participation and shared friendship on this forum made for so much spirited debate, perspective, wit, color and fun. We are going to miss him tremendously. Thank you for sharing such terrible news with us in your time of untimely and sudden grief.
Be wary of your critics, at peace with your decisions, and work hard to be a better man.
My condolences. He will be remembered here, and missed.

Jack was one of my real friends, here. It simply took us a minute to figure each other out.
I thank you, Dear Friend, for all you support, and I will miss you.
I send all my love and condolences.

RIP, Jack.
Donna,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Jack was quite a character and I will miss him very much.
We had a really nice breakfast together when he stopped here in Richmond on his trip North this Summer.
I had hope on his next trip through we could grab a beer or two and a baseball game.
This is a very sad day!
My thoughts will be with you!

The last thing Jack said to me was some meanish bully crap.
I will miss that too.

Shocking news. My condolences.
Yet another reminder, all, to love those around you, and live life fully. One never knows.
“It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things.” ― Lemony Snicket, Horseradish

Wish I could undo that.
This is shocking and heartbreaking news. My deepest condolences to you and your family. My heart goes out to you, Donna.
Jack was always kind and gentlemanly towards me. I will remember him as an adventurous person. All the great travels you both did on the motorhome over the years..... He was also a big part of this WBF family, and he and his conversations will be missed.
Sending you prayers and smoke and strength.

I am saddened to hear the news. Jack seemed like a good fellow. I don't know that we often agreed, but disagreeing with him could be fun and he always seemed to come from a good and decent place. I'm not sure this is the healthiest place right now, but you will find many people here who liked Jack.
I saw this post in the early morning hours and was hoping when I checked back that it was some form of mistake. I tossed and turned all night and deeply sad to see this thread is still here. I really didn't want to believe it. Jack and I spared on here but I knew him, we spoke on the phone a few times and most recently about Real Estate issues. I've met him and considered him more than just a forum member but as a friend. My deepest condolences to you Donna and to all your family. As the Irish say ní maith liom do thrioblóid - sorry for your trouble

Damn. I am so sorry to see this. Thoughts and prayers to you and your loved ones from here.
Stay calm, be brave....wait for the signs. Possibly precariously prevaricating.
