These neo-Nazis aren't the same as the ones our parents fought against 75 years ago, so we should leave them alone?

Nonsense. They are wannabe 1930s Nazis, and all they need is the right leader to give them the encouragement and support they need. Oh wait???

This resolution is a further example of how the current president is simply not feared on the Hill. This puts him at odds with the worst of his base, whom he adores and cherishes. It is a way for the 'deep state' to further erode the ( shaky ) foundation he is standing on.

Given I'm not Hispanic or Muslim I don't have an immediate fear but his attempts to censure scientists, disavow the Paris agreement, dismantle the EPA, cripple the state Dept. and generally undermine every institution that promotes the general welfare doesn't make me feel good.

Big difference between 1930 and 1939. More attention in 1930 is what was called for. "Only" hoodlums and thugs, eh?

Bull****. There were plenty of nazi soldiers who had no idea that a final solution was developed and implemented. Every single one of America's nazis ascribe to every ideal that their Fuehrer had in mind.

An excellent move - make Trump commit, one way or the other. That he's hesitant should tell any True Patriot exactly what he stands for; and if that True Patriot supports that, that's a 'tell', as well.

                      Make'em commit.
There's a lot of things they didn't tell me when I signed on with this outfit....

Yeah. A nationwide call amassed about as many as a hiliary book signing. Being as our congress just came off a six week vacation, they weren't in the groove to offer any real legislation, so they passed this resolution. Some people don't even vote.

Heard an opinion from a US constitutional lawyer this morning, he says that the 'myth' that there are processes to prevent an irrational Pres. from ordering a nuke strike are just that, a myth. The chain goes direct from the CinC to the military officers next in line.
