Default Coquina, Le Seil, Caledonia Yawl

    Hello All
I'm clearing the deck for a trailer sailer.
Mostly sail (torpedo ? backup), Nova Scotia, Atlantic Canada, bays, lakes, and estuaries primarily.
Camp cruising with 10 yr old (he'll be 13 by the time I'm done.
Love the look of Le Seil but would like to lengthen (slightly) for a mizzen, Coquina seems a bit small, love the look of Caledonia but not a fan of double enders.
I do not want a wet boat; that being said I'll not be taking on challenging conditions.
    I don't need a jib.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards
    Brian

Talk to Francois about stretching Seil, not an impossible task.

Ilur would be drier and he has drawn a lug yawl rig for her.

Considered Clint Chase Deblois St Dory? a very classic, seaworthy, Swampscott Dory hull which would be right at home in the Canadian Maritimes and very able to carry two on extended camp cruising adventures.

What about the Hvalsoe 18? Yeadon's build thread is in the archives of Building/Repair.

Gdansk, Stich-n-tape if you want to build that way. He will tweak the rig to how you want it.

Don't rule out Coquina. She's a wonder. Where in NS are you? I'm in Shubenacadie.
