    Is there a set of an Adirondack guide boat plan that is accompanied by a book if not can anyone recommend a good set of plans for a 10 to 12 foot Adirondack guide boat

    That's pretty small for a guide boat most are closer to 15', how do plan to build it, strip built, traditional, stitch and glue, there are plans available for all those methods this is a pretty good book.

    It really is quite difficult to build an ugly wooden boat.

    Wow ! My copy of that book has really appreciated over the last couple of years, wish my IRA had done as well.
