    i have a historic gold cup news story somewhere in my 12 boxes of boat pr0n and boat plans
    in it is the account of a racing mechanic/throttle man passing out on the last lap of a gold cup event after being overcome by the exhaust and slumping over onto the throttles opening them all the way - the boat went on to win that heat race!

    I think it may have been Miss Detroit.
