    I definitely wouldn't sail a GG with any more SA than that, even off the wind! But it is very clever!

    Good deal
    I built one about 10 years ago. Materials cost ~$400, plus misc epoxy, screws, etc.

    Thank you for referencing this and thank you for the compliments. Sold it this morning to a new home in the Adirondacks. Tough to see a boat going away that brought so many good times. Now I'm down to 12 boats. Jim
