Don't forget the different versions of 2CV: Dolly, Bamboo, Charleston and Beachcomber.
Not too sure about Basket or Spot though.

PS: just back from seeing a few hundred 2CVs at 2CVGB's annual rally.

Dodge Ram. So good they've now omitted the "Dodge" part.

Don't forget the Vauxhall Viva! One like this - except white - was the car I learned to drive on. My sister named it "Petunia", for no apparent reason.

Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Wasn't a Dodge that killed that woman in Charlottesville ? I think it was a Challenger though, not the DOH Charger

So many nice Chargers were ruined because of the G-D television show. I hate 'em, and it has nothing to do with the rebel south.

IMHO, they look so much nicer in basic black:

My buddy had one. Big, big cars. It was fun to ride in, but he never let anyone ever drive it.

I first thought the Maserati Quattroporte must have had 4 valves per cylinder or something. But no, it's just sexy Italian for 4 door.

There was a time when Motown named their cars as aggressive beasts. Not so much now. Now SUVs are escape or adventure vehicles. I personally do not want to Wrangle in Durango.

Yes, beasts such as Lark, Skylark, Roadrunner, Impala, Pinto, and my personal favorite, the Dodge Super Bee. For some reason, that was supposed to say "fast."

I'm surprised we've gotten this far and nobody has mentioned the Ford Probe. For maximum impact just think Probe.
One of the most enduring qualities of an old wooden boat is the smell it imparts to your clothing.

My grandmother's was a 1970, I think, but may have been as late as '72 - the convertible, also in green, white interior. Great car.

What are you doing about it?

LARK. I never owned a Studebaker Lark, but we drove them. When we were working on the Nevada Test Range the Inter Agency Motor Pool got a great deal on Larks, all painted government gray.

For conservatives, or perhaps the limp wristed there was the nissan Cedric.

We had the Chrysler Centaur , made in the factory that was to be taken over by Mitsubishi.
The Centaur was a hospital ship , torpedoed without warning by a Japanese sub.
I think Toyota also named a car after an Allied ship sunk in WW2.
Not the way to win friends and influence people.

Hillman Avenger........rebadged in the US as the infinitely less cool sounding Plymouth Cricket.

Not bad handling, compared with any of the contemporary British Fords, but having put about 70,000km on one, I can verify that almost everything else in this article is correct.
