    Default Brain cancer update

I've just passed a personal landmark, 18 months post craniotomy and feeling fine. My surgeon gave me and the man in the bed beside mine 12 to 18 months so it's very pleasant to prove her wrong. I haven't had a bad day through radiation or chemo.... I've been very lucky. The man in the bed besides mine is still OK too.
I appreciate the thing (GBM4) will probably kill me eventually but so far so good !

You're stuck with me for a while longer !

Great news, keep on keeping on.

    Get to work, then, Mate!

I am as pleased as anyone to hear.

I will continue to send good thoughts daily. So keep that protective headgear on, eh? Haha.

    Peace,

Happy to be stuck with you for as long as you want to hang around. Happy anniversary or whatever you call the 18 month milestone.

Good to hear, Peter. It's never over til it's over, as they say.
There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.

Peter, we're happy to be stuck with you.

Have the doctors been following up with scans? MRI or the like? (FYI : SWMBO has had so many scans, she now has a T-Shirt that reads : "If I have one more scan, I'm either going to glow in the dark or stick to the fridge")

Heard that on my way home tonight. Somehow, I don't think the surgeon would want Peter cutting timbers or pouring lead in the OR.
