All the kids went camping up on Mt. Hood last weekend, along the Sandy river. Here's one of Geffen & Dad in the river --

Thanks. Done and dusted. Very quick and easy labor. No word yet on birth weight - but the foto showed her suckling intently. Yeah... we're jazzed!

Had her coming out party last night. A lovely bbq with friends and family. She mostly slept regally above the fray of laughter, dogs, cooking, yakking, and heated discussion of the upcoming choice of a middle name. At this point - signs and portents are leaning toward Rayne. Willow Rayne.

Foto from last night. Impressive head of head of a 4-day old larvae!!

Nice! So you are definitely a 'repeat offender' in this whole 'grandpa' business. I'm still learning the ropes.

Good God, four! I can barely handle one! Good aerobic exercise, anyway. Zoe the Wonder Girl is getting bigger:

Man they do grow so fast!

One important thing to learn about being a Grandfather, is nap time.

O.K. all you Grandfolk, welcome to the club, however, this coming September, if all goes well I'll be a greatgrand father. Stay tuned.

When Diana's father became a great granddaddy we started referring to him as the tribal elder.

It's sweet to see scenes like this one. Our young Willow has this napping thing down pat. Dad's no slouch, either. Of course they've got the bloodline... <G>

We got the pair of them overnight for the first time Tuesday night. This is what the parents did - just before - to try and wear them out for us --

    bless them, with your presence.
