A great issue.I doubt I am the only one wanting to know more about the building of Ernst Lillemoen's Baby Bootlegger.I also think Mickey Lake will derive more pleasure from the Metre boats than most of us and there is some very high quality work going on in Flensburg.Well done to all the team in Brooklin.

I've always pictured a WWII era RR Merlin in Baby Bootlegger rather than that WWI era Hispano Suisa. I wonder how she handles the extra weight. Performance increase much? I suspect there's about 5 times the HP in her now. But the additional weight also. Love those side exit exhausts he's got on her. Beautifully executed. WB needs to do an article on that boat.
