    Is Buggar Off acceptable bilge fair? I'd really like the option of using it in certain cases.
    Simpler is better, except when complicated looks really cool.

    The C word is ranked "strongest" in offensiveness in Britain, yet the word is used more frequently by Britons than their counterparts in the US, where the word is now almost totally taboo.

    John Lydon uses the word effectively in context, I'd say. It is usually good for a laugh. Others are less able.

    I think the stunning array of euphemisms, and also conjoined swearing is where the Brits over-achieve.

    Check out Roger's*Profanisaurus for examples. Warning - extremely crude!
